I have to say it : what i like the most about this writing thing is not only meeting with great artists, it’s to interact and exchange with people i have always read about!
Michele Lamy is an emblematic figure of LA underground nightlife in the mid 90s. She was the owner of the restaurant/nightclub Les Deux Cafes, a famous club part in a parking lot. She is Rick Owens’ wife and muse. They moved to Paris in 2003 to write the story we know today.
Rick Owens was the first designer that actually made me think different.
Few years ago, I met them for a collaboration they did for TRANOI.
That’s when i first saw her and she just blew my mind.
I was astonished by the whole thing. It’s not just about the unique style and character, i guess it’s just her natural charisma that seems coming out from nowhere.
So when my dear friend Sofia Tchkonia interviewed Michele for her documentary and proposed me to join, i was just delighted!
